About
CVI am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Space Robotics at the University of Luxembourg, where I recently completed my PhD with a thesis on Robot Learning Beyond Earth. My research focuses on advancing the capabilities of embodied agents through Robot Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Simulation — with the goal of developing intelligent systems that can effectively learn and interact with the dynamic world around us, even in the most extreme environments.
During my PhD, I had the opportunity to work as a visiting researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where I contributed to scalable simulations and sim-to-real transfer for space robotics. My foundational knowledge in robotics was built at Aalborg University, where I earned both my BSc and MSc in Robotics. Along the way, I sharpened my software engineering skills through my work as a Rust developer at Aivero, which left me with a lasting passion for Rust and systems programming.
