Runtime license notices

This page identifies license materials for the browser demo’s Blender 5.2.0 and CPython 3.13.13 runtime, the statically linked Rust component, and the browser viewer.

Source status: Source publication is pending review. No Rust source code is included here, and no source availability or GPL compliance claim is made.

blr

The project’s first-party license texts are available as Apache-2.0 and MIT. The browser runtime contains a statically linked Rust component built from the project and its Rust dependency graph.

The detailed index records the locked WebAssembly-target package names, versions, declared license expressions, and the license or notice files shipped with each exact crate version when present. It also includes Rust standard-library notices and the Emscripten license. Missing package files and the build wrapper’s undeclared license are identified in the index.

The index describes the build dependency graph. It does not map object code in the final binary or certify compliance for the combined runtime.

Blender 5.2.0

The browser runtime uses Blender 5.2.0. Blender’s upstream license disclosure identifies Blender’s license and provides third-party license notices and license texts:

The linked document is Blender’s upstream license inventory for its release source. It may cover components beyond those used by this headless browser build.

WebGPU GUI build dependencies

The browser GUI build adds shader compilation and WebGPU support through shaderc, glslang, Dawn/Tint, Abseil, SPIR-V Tools, SPIR-V Headers, and emdawnwebgpu. Their exact-build license texts and source revisions are listed here:

The existing Blender license inventory also covers its bundled GUI fonts and assets; this section covers the additional WebGPU build dependencies.

CPython 3.13.13

The runtime embeds CPython 3.13.13 with system Expat. CPython’s license and included third-party notices are reproduced from its runtime asset:

Browser viewer

The bundled model viewer and its dependencies have separate notices:

These notices identify materials found in the build inputs and bundled assets. They are provided for information and are not a legal review or certification that distribution requirements have been met.
