Procedural simulation assets for diverse virtual environments.
SimForge is a framework for creating diverse virtual environments through procedural generation. Instead of hand-modeling every rock, terrain patch or spacecraft, you describe an asset once and generate as many variants as you need, one per random seed. SimForge produces the procedural assets of Space Robotics Bench.
Press “Open 3D viewer” to load the selected model (0.1–0.6 MB each).Made with SimForge 0.4.0, SimForge Foundry 0.3.1 and Blender 4.5 LTS, with WebP textures. Your browser only renders the models.
Choose an asset and a seed. Each model is a GLB file that SimForge exported for that seed, and you can download it.
Features
Assets: registered building blocks, from images and meshes to articulated models. Their definitions live in external repositories that projects can share, such as SimForge Foundry.
Generators: create assets from those definitions. The Blender generator builds geometry and materials and exports them to formats such as GLB, USD and OBJ.
Integrations: bring generated assets into game engines and physics simulators. The Isaac Lab integration spawns them in NVIDIA Isaac Lab.
Command line:simforge ls lists the registered assets, and simforge gen moon_rock -e glb -s 0 -n 3 generates three variants.
Status
The latest release is SimForge 0.4.0 (May 2026) on PyPI, dual-licensed under MIT or Apache 2.0; its Foundry asset definitions are released under CC0 1.0.
