Variants

Random

Uniform independent sampling — the baseline every claim is measured against.

Tpe

The Tree-structured Parzen Estimator at its defaults. Recorded honestly rather than omitted: default [Tpe] is not multi-objective-aware — with more than one direction it falls back to the uniform Random draw (the legacy behavior [Tpe::with_hssp] documents), so on these problems it samples exactly what Random samples. The MOTPE split is the opt-in TpeHssp.

Nsga2

The real [Nsga2].

CrowdBlind

The regression sentinel: NSGA-II with crowding distance deleted (CrowdlessNsga2).

TpeHssp

[Tpe] with the opt-in Optuna 5-style multi-objective split ([Tpe::with_hssp]): nondomination-rank fronts, HSSP (exact hypervolume subset selection) on the partial front — MOTPE. Measured by the atune-mo-suite harness, not gated by the oracle.

Nsga3

The opt-in reference-point [Nsga3], at the same population as Nsga2. Measured by the atune-mo-suite harness, not gated by the oracle.
