ImportArgs

Struct ImportArgs

pub struct ImportArgs {
    pub input: PathBuf,
    pub storage: String,
}
Expand description

atune import — read an Optuna journal file into an atune storage.

The M5.1 reverse of export: replay an Optuna journal-file op log (whatever optuna.optimize or study.add_trial wrote) into an atune storage named by a spec string, so an Optuna study can be read, resumed and tuned by atune (see interoperating with Optuna). Lossy or foreign entries (sampler system attrs, arbitrary user attrs) are skipped and reported, never fatal.

Fields§

§input: PathBuf

The Optuna journal file to read.

§storage: String

The destination storage, as a spec: :memory:, a *.atj journal, or a *.db/*.sqlite/*.sqlite3 database.

Local Journal (*.atj) and SQLite (*.db, *.sqlite, *.sqlite3) files are plaintext. Require restrictive file permissions, an encrypted volume, and protected backups (encrypted when transferred).
