pub intermediates: Vec<(u64, Vec<f64>)>,
pub constraints: Vec<f64>,
}Expand description
One replicate’s result within a fan.
A replicate is the evaluation of one configuration under one seed. It carries which replicate it is, the seed it ran under, its objective value(s) (one per study direction) and, optionally, whatever intermediate values it reported.
Non-finite values survive serialization: they are encoded as the JSON strings
"NaN", "Infinity" and "-Infinity", exactly as the journal encodes
non-finite objective values, so a fan is never silently corrupted by a
diverging run.
Fields§
§replicate: u32Which replicate this is, 0-based.
seed: u64The seed this replicate was evaluated under.
values: Vec<f64>The objective value(s), one per study direction.
intermediates: Vec<(u64, Vec<f64>)>Intermediate reports as (step, values), in report order. Empty unless
the objective reported anything.
constraints: Vec<f64>The constraint values this replicate recorded
(TrialCtx::record_constraints),
empty unless it recorded any.
Kept per replicate for the same reason values
is: aggregation must not lose the per-seed evidence. The trial-level
vector the sampler and the Pareto front rank by is their componentwise
worst (worst_constraints) — a
configuration is feasible only if it is feasible on every seed.
