RetryRecord

Struct RetryRecord

pub struct RetryRecord {
    pub attempt: u32,
    pub retry_of: TrialId,
}
Expand description

What a retried trial records about its origin.

FrozenTrial::retries is the natural home for this, but the frozen Storage seam has no method that writes it, so the loop records the lineage as typed state on an independently keyed named trial-state scope instead. Legacy Scope::Trial v1 data remains readable. Read it back with Study::retry_record.

Fields§

§attempt: u32

Which attempt this trial is; 1 for the first retry.

§retry_of: TrialId

The trial whose failure caused this one to be enqueued.
