How two blocks are compared.

Variants§

§

ParityBlock

Every field bit-equal. The default, and the only mode a golden uses.

§

ParamsOnly

Trial number and every parameter bit-equal; the objective value(s) compared to a relative tolerance instead.

For an objective that genuinely cannot be spelled identically in both languages — one whose Python arm reduces with numpy, say. The parameters are the part of the claim that belongs to atune; the value belongs to the objective (§6.2).

The relative tolerance the value(s) must agree to.
