The trial numbers in TPE’s “good” set for its next proposal, lowest value first, or None when the run is not an unscheduled TPE run past its startup.

TPE ranks the completed and pruned trials by value (ties in trial order) and fits l(x) to the best min(⌈0.1·n⌉, 25), at most n − 1. Without a scheduler every trial completes and none is pending, so this is exactly TPE’s split; a scheduler adds partial and pending trials to it, so the page shows the set only for unscheduled runs.
