Struct ParityMismatch
pub struct ParityMismatch {
pub pair: String,
pub key: String,
pub left_label: String,
pub left: String,
pub right_label: String,
pub right: String,
pub hint: String,
}Expand description
Two parity blocks disagreeing on a field.
The message carries the pair, the first differing key and both values with
their bits — a diff that shows two identical-looking decimals and no bits is
the failure mode that wastes an afternoon
(docs/design/11-documentation-plan.md §17.4).
Fields§
§pair: StringThe pair’s name in examples/parity.toml.
key: StringThe first key the two blocks disagree on, in printed order.
left_label: StringWhat the left-hand side is, e.g. the Rust arm.
left: StringThe left-hand value, rendered with its bits when it is a float.
right_label: StringWhat the right-hand side is, e.g. the Python arm.
right: StringThe right-hand value, rendered with its bits when it is a float.
hint: StringWhat to do about it.
