Crate atune_gui
Expand description
atune_gui — an egui/eframe study-visualization GUI for atune (M6.5).
A read-only rendering layer over atune’s existing
StudyReader /
StudyView
APIs — one crate, two entry points:
- Native (
run_native): a desktop window ([eframe::run_native] on the glow/OpenGL backend) that opens the bundled demo, or a study loaded from a storage spec through the facade’sopen_storage_read_only. - Wasm (
start_gallery, compiled only forwasm32-unknown-unknownand called by theatune_gui_gallerybrowser binary): the same app mounted in the browser on glow → WebGL2, reading the embedded deterministic fixture gallery. The library itself registers no start hook, so linking it never starts a second app (D88). It depends onatune_coreplus the facade’s wasm-cleanimportanceanddiagnosefeatures only — nosystem, nofaer, norusqlite— so it needs (and CI runs) its own wasm gate.
Every chart’s data→geometry is a pure function in the geometry module, unit
tested with no window and no GPU (the atune report inline-SVG and
atune top render_into precedent); the app shell only maps that geometry
onto the screen. egui/eframe are confined entirely to this crate and
never reach atune_core (docs/design/03-architecture.md §1).
The views, in the docs/09 §15 priority order: optimization history +
running trials; per-seed band curves (the unique multi-seed view); parallel
coordinates; PED-ANOVA parameter importance; the Pareto front; the PBT
lineage tree (the unique fork-genealogy view); slice plots;
open-search-space bounds over time; and sampler-independent findings. Each
maps to an existing read API — see the geometry submodules.
