Expand description

Everything the child needs to evaluate one trial replicate.

Fields§

§oniro_cli: PathBuf

The oniro_cli binary (or a contract-compatible stand-in) to invoke.

§base_config: String

The base RunConfig TOML text the overlay is layered onto.

§run_root: PathBuf

The directory oniro run directories (and the trial config) are written under.

§objective: ObjectiveSource

The objective source: greedy eval or meta.json.

§eval_episodes: usize

The greedy episode count for eval mode.

§overlay: BTreeMap<String, String>

The sampled values, keyed by dotted config path (already rendered).

§seed: u64

The replicate’s seed (ATUNE_SEED), written into run.seed.

§trial_number: u64

The trial number, used to make the run directory unique across trials.

§deadline: Option<Instant>

One absolute monotonic deadline shared by training and metric collection. None is reserved for callers that intentionally accept the runtime’s seven-day default.
