atune live demo
A seeded atune study minimizes the two-dimensional Rastrigin function
f(x, y) = 20 + x² + y² − 10 cos(2πx) − 10 cos(2πy) on
[−5.12, 5.12]², one trial at a time, in your browser. The global minimum
is 0 at the origin; the grid of local minima around it makes the function
a standard multimodal test. Every run uses the public seed 42 and 64
trials, so a run with the same sampler repeats exactly.

Heatmap: white dots are trials, the red ring marks the lowest value so far, the blue ring the newest trial, and the white cross the global minimum. Chart: grey dots are trial values; the line is the best value so far.
